Today we had the weevil explosion in my pantry and we had to throw away a huge box of Potato Pearls (yes I know they should be canned), a 25 lb bag of rice (that should be canned too), and numerous oatmeal packets. Then we had to go through everything else. We dumped out 1 25 lb bag of black beans, 1 25 lb bag of flour,6 containers of grits, 1 big thing of oatmeal, 1 large box of Minute Rice, 1 large container of bread crumbs checking to make sure that there were no bugs in them. After said dumpage we had to put all that stuff into freezer bags and 5 gallon buckets. Note to self-buy more freezer bags and 5 gallon buckets. I did dump half the bread crumbs on my rug so it can join its friend on the laundry room floor that has the OJ on it from yesterday that I still have not had time to wash. When I went to put the bread crumbs into the freezer I found that my freezer is so packed with crap that it would not fit. Oh wait if I move the ice cream container that someone put in the freezer with the lid on one shelf and the ice cream on the other maybe I can squish the bread crumbs between the 3 bags of frozen zucchini shreds and the 37 eggos. Did I break a mirror or something or walk under a ladder? Can I buy good Karma somewhere? What is the dang deal? I'm going to time out now for chucking a fore mentioned ice cream container. It's a good thing my aim is so bad or someone may have gotten hit.
P.S.-I have oreos in my nightstand-that may make me feel better.

3 Happy Thoughts:
Haha not your week eh? Haha enjoy those oreos :)
Oh, I shudder to think of all the bugs feeding on the food storage in my garage. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Wow! I'm sorry about the weevils, yuck! That is a big fear of mine, just to add to the long list of my fears. I hope the Oreos did the trick.
