Scripture of the Day

Alma 26:27  Now when our hearts were depressed , and we were about to turn back, behold, the Lord comforted us, and said "Go amongst thy brethren, the Lamanites, and bear with patience thine afflictions and I will give unto you success.

Now applying it to my life....
Now when Jenni's heart was depressed, and she was about to turn back (quit, leave, run away, drain the checking account) the Lord comforted her and said Go amongst thy children, and bear with patience thine afflictions and I will give you success.

Because of Alma 26:6
Yea they shall not be beaten down by the storm at the last day yea neither shall they be harrowed up by the whirlwinds but when the storm cometh they shall be gathered together in their place that the storm cannot penetrate them yea neither shall they be driven with fierce winds withersoever the enemy listeth to carry them.

To my life
My children will not be beaten down by the storm. The storm of evil of destruction of division and tearing apart families, the wickedness that surround my children at every turn-the depressed heart can come but we will be gathered to our place-our home-where the storm cannot get it.  Even the fierce winds who try to move one way or another will be unable to.

Because of Alma26:7
But Behold they are in the hands of the Lord of the harvest and they are his and He will raise them up at the last day.
