Deep Thoughts

"Great things are brought about and burdens lightened through the efforts of many hands “anxiously engaged in a good cause.” Imagine what the millions of Latter-day Saints could accomplish in the world if we functioned like a beehive in our focused, concentrated commitment to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ." M. Russell Ballard October 2012 General Conference

The Hills Are Alive With the Sound of Griswold

Ok, the sound of Cody singing Sweeney Todd. 3 Cheers for Cody who auditioned for Encore Choir on Monday and found out that he made it today. He is quite excited about this-sidenote remember how he used to sing at lots of Primary programs and Christmas programs all solos mind you and how cute he was and how much he liked it? The downside to this is that because the teacher will be teaching at 2 different schools here, Encore Choir will be held at 6:00am just like early morning seminary has been this year. Down here all freshmen have to take early morning seminary. I thought we were almost through with 5:30 risings but alas, no. Not that I have been doing anything other than making sure the Cody is up and hurries in the shower before going back to bed. He has been so great about getting up and not fussing about going that early even when he is really tired. The only time that he has not gone has been when he is sick. He has never missed because he could not get up or he was just too tired to go. He is such a good boy!!!

Hooray for Cody! He's the best.

That reminds me of when Cody listened to Alvin and the Chipmunks all the time, and even wanted to change his name to Alvin. Congrats to Cody!

I totally remember the days of Cody's primary solos. He was so cute! Good for him for making it!

That is awesome! I wish I could have heard the primary singing days.
