Daycamp

The day after school got out Cayden got to go to his first Cub Scout Daycamp.  It was Thursday Friday and Saturday.  I got to go with him as a denwalker.  It was pretty darn hot outside but the kids all had fun.  Cayden got to make a treasure box, shoot a bb gun and a bow and arrow, learn some first aid skills and look for birds.  The daycamp was held at the fairgrounds and the kids rotated through 5 different stations a day.  On Saturday they played games and then the fire department came and brought the firetruck to spray the kids with the big firehose.  I did not have to go all 3 days but Cayden is quite hesitant in joining activities so I was there to 'encourage" him to participate.  I did get a nifty t-shirt out of it and got to eat PBandJ warmed by the sun 2 days in a row!
