Deep Thoughts

"Great things are brought about and burdens lightened through the efforts of many hands “anxiously engaged in a good cause.” Imagine what the millions of Latter-day Saints could accomplish in the world if we functioned like a beehive in our focused, concentrated commitment to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ." M. Russell Ballard October 2012 General Conference

Flashback Friday

Most of my photo albums are in totes in preparation for the big move that never happened so in honor of Flashback Friday I grabbed the top photo album out of the box and started flipping pages. This album was actually from 2005 but this photo of Caleb for whatever reason was in it and in the wrong place. So because one of these things is not like the others I will use this picture today. Be very afraid for next week when I try and find some pics of me or Don from many moons ago.

This pic of Caleb is from October of 2000. He is 2 years and 4 months old. I love that little smile! If you can see the scratches on his face they are courtesy of Connor who constantly had to be digging or scratching someone and since Caleb was the slowest he usually was the recipient of said assault. I think that there are lots of pictures where Caleb has battle wounds. I guess it is just rewards that Caleb has gotten to be so much bigger than Connor. I love looking at pictures of my kids when they were little-they were so darn cute even though I was a walking zombie because no one ever slept through the night-ok Cayden started sleeping through the night when he was 2 months old because he found his thumb. This helpful habit is costing us thousands in Ortho care for Cayden but I will gladly pay for it as there were many nights of blissful sleep to the squeaky wet sounds of baby thumb thucky.

My gosh! He looks so much like Chris did at that age! Can you see Chris in him?
