Deep Thoughts

"Great things are brought about and burdens lightened through the efforts of many hands “anxiously engaged in a good cause.” Imagine what the millions of Latter-day Saints could accomplish in the world if we functioned like a beehive in our focused, concentrated commitment to the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ." M. Russell Ballard October 2012 General Conference

Meeting Ella Belle

Our sweet new cuzzie Ella Lucille Pitts was born on February 24, 2012 in American Fork, Utah. It was another crazy week up there with so much going on that we went to help. Ella was born 3 weeks early, Granddaddy Larry just had knee surgery and was getting out of the hospital that day and Chris and Anne had to work. Luckily it was a Friday and our weekend was free so we hurried and pack up and loaded up and drove to Provo.  We spent the next few days shuttling Abby and Owie back and forth from their house to Grandma Penny's and helping watch Cam and Lexie and helping Grandma take care of granddaddy.  It was a crazy week.  Don and Caleb flew home on Tuesday so that Caleb wouldn't miss so much school but then they turned around and came back up on Wednesday because Caleb was having a hard time with us being gone-Don had to go somewhere that week but I forget where.  So Caleb and Cayden missed an entire week of school.  Connor stayed home to work with Garndpa so luckily he didn;t have a ton of make up work.  We did call Caleb's school and have them fax up what they could so that he could atleast do some of it.  We went to Sonic numerous times that week to combat all the stress!  Cayden was so sweet when he went in to see Ella for the first time.  He got all teary eyed but had a big big smile on his face.  We knew that he knew that Ella had just come from heaven and he could feel her sweet sweet spirit.  He is such a tender hearted boy.  We told him that he was feeling the spirit and feeling Heavenly Father's love for him and Ella. We are so glad that we could meet Ella Belle and help her family!

Sleepy Cowboy

I started walking again in the mornings after the boys went to school and of course had to take my little Kyle. This is not a cowboy hat but one of those hats with the ear covers that I just pulled back and it made it look like he was wearing a cowboy hat. He was smiling in his sleep and I thought it was so cute.

Valentine's Day

The boys got pink cookies and Reese's hearts this year and Kyle got a cute puppy dog. Yes, he got a cookie too but I ate it.  Cayden had his Valentine's party at school.  I didn't make it to this one.  This may have been the first school party I have not attended since time began.  I'm pretty sure I sent something in though but I can't remember what it was.  Cody came down to get started oh his mission papers so he got treats too.

Mr's Fix It

Our basketball hoop had been broken for a long long time with the glass shattered out of it.  Don finally ordered the replacement and he and the boys put it back up.  The boys love to play basketball outside and are always asking their dad to play with them so we really needed it fixed.

The traditional birthday hat.

Cayden Kelly Adams is 10 years old!  On Saturday, February 4 we took Cayden to St. George for dinner and a haircut!  On Monday he got lots of balloons, presents and cake.  He got a Nintendo DS and some games with it.  We had a chocolate cake and grandma and grandma came over to celebrate with us.

Cayden is Branching Out

Cayden has made alot of progress this year in 4th grade.  Up until now he would not get up in front of the class and do anything but today he read a report that he wrote!  It was a pretty big accomplishment for him.  His teacher sent me the photo and I took a picture of the report and him when he got home.
