New Year's Eve
We had a grand New Year's celebration at Grandma Penny's. We went to the party store and bought hats, mustaches, and horns to celebrate in true party fashion.

The kids went out at midnight and banged on pots and pans. A few plastic and wooden utensils did not live to see but a few seconds of the New Year.
Caleb decided to be Juan Dos Tres in honor the holiday.

December
I bought Cayden this Lego advent calendar that he was excited about. Each day there was a little package that had a little Lego piece in it that he could place on the display mat.
Cayden was our Christmas Nazi again making sure that all the decorations went in their proper spot.
Cayden did let Kyle hang a few ornaments on the tree.
The barricade was highly ineffective.
Kyle had fun playing with all the new toys that were out on display.
He especially loved snowman that was by the front door.
This was about as good as I could get for a Christmas card photo.
I got snuggles!
I went to dinner with my good friend Amy Marshall up in St. George at Texas Roadhouse.

Christmas
We had a fun Christmas! We cooked and cleaned and went to the movies. We visited with family and ate and ate and ate. We opened lots of presents and we went to Grandma Penny's.
On Christmas Eve we went to Frozen up in Mesquite
We had our family progressive dinner. We had appetizers at Zundel's, soup at our house and pasta and salad and Grandma and Grandpa's. We opened our gifts from each other at the various houses.
The lovely whistle from Aunt Dena. Kyle got a Thomas the Train kaleidoscope but he thought that there was something inside it and he kept wanting someone to open it for him. He was quite distressed that there was no train in it!
Cody always plays the piano for us.
All the grandkids.
Connor got this dutch oven tripod from Grandma and Grandpa.
Opening our Christmas Eve present. Jammies of course!
The children were nestled all snug in their beds.
Lining up in the hall to see what Santa brought.
Cayden's letter from Santa on the back of the paper plate that he leaves out milk and cookies on.
The stockings were stuffed!
Kyle's new train track.
Cayden got a karaoke machine and we all had a crazy fun time singing along. The best is Connor though who doesn't know the words and so he just makes it up!
Cody leaving to go back home.
Santa gave all the boys these Nerf guns which incited a Nerf gun war.
Apparently we can't converse with each other while sitting right next to each other at Grandma Penny's.
There was snow to play in!
Our Christmas dinner at Grandma Penny's. We played Christmas Jeopardy and opened lots of gifts.
