Reading Day Picnic with Cayden

This week was Reading Week at Cayden's school. Each day they had some sort of special thing that they did to emphasize reading. Today was "Special Person Picnic Day". So we had a picnic outside on the grass and then we read a couple books. I took "peatty butter" sandwiches with the "crusts cut off", chips and chocolate milk for Cayden. Some kids did not have a special person come so they sat with us on our blanket with Cayden's teacher, Miss Lisa. (she is subbing for Mrs. Sobrio who is on maternity leave) It was a very warm day and Cayden did not want me to leave. Sorry buddy!
