No May Day For Us

Cayden was adamant that he was not going to dance at the May Day dance.  He has practiced all month long and I did catch him unaware one day when they were practicing in the gym.  He asked us every single day if he had to go to May Day.  We told him he could choose.  I did ask him why he did not want to go and he said that it is scary and loud and he did not like all the people watching him and all the yelling and clapping.  I have been doing alot of research into the various issues that seem to be plaguing our family I have had some epiphanies as to some of Cayden's challenges.  We are looking at some sensory things with him and the problems he has with noise and commotion are some of the things that fit.  So we did not go to May Day again this year.  It's just as well since I have been going to May Day for 12 years.
