Thankful Thursday

I think my plan with this post is to just write about one thing that I am thankful for in detail as opposed to just listing what I am thankful for. I have been thinking all morning what I am thankful for today-of course there are many things but hopefully since this will be a weekly post I won't run out of things to be thankful for.
I am thankful for my husband.
My husband is such a great man. He always puts my needs first no matter what. I am so glad that he is in town this week. He drove me to my procedure yesterday and babied me all day after that. He made dinner last night and brought me dinner in bed. He played chauffeur to the kids last night and tried to keep them out of my hair so I could rest. He tries really hard to see that I don't overwork myself and he will help with the housework. Before he goes on trips he tries to get as much laundry done for me as he can so that I have one less thing to do while he is gone. He is very considerate of my feelings and always says that he is having a good day if I am having a good day. He works hard and is always trying to do more and be more so that he can show his value to the company so that he will be last on the list of layoffs. He takes his role very seriously as provider for our family and has always done his best so that I can stay home with the kids. He is always concerned for my comfort. If I am not feeling well he wants me to go and lay down so that I can feel better. He has no problem babying me which I suck up most days and let him when he is home. He is a very thoughtful and generous person. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need and is willing to go in the hole to help others. He does not complain-that is my job and he is always a glass half full kind of person. He is much more patient than I am with people in general and with the kids. He likes to play around with the boys and is a great dad. I could go on and on I'm sure but will stop now. I am always grateful for him and I thank Heavenly Father every day that he is my husband.
